# Start with QA.army

> Create a Workspace, save one critical Web Test, and use the first of 10 free Runs.

> **Note**
>
> A new Workspace includes 10 initial free Runs with no credit card required.
> The allowance does not reset monthly, and creating or editing a Test does not
> start a Run.

## 1. Sign in

Open [app.qa.army](https://app.qa.army/) and sign in. QA.army creates or reuses
the Workspace you are authorized to access.

## 2. Identify the team boundary

Confirm the Workspace that will share Projects, Tests, Runs, usage, and billing.
Only authorized Workspace members can access its Tests, Runs, and evidence.

## 3. Choose the first Project

Choose one independently testable Web surface and its approved Production,
Staging, or QA URL. Native Mobile and Desktop execution are not generally
available yet.

## 4. Draft the first Test

Start with a journey whose failure would block a release or harm customers.
Write ordered actions and assertions, and make every expected outcome
observable.

```text
Open the sign-in page.
Sign in with the test account.
Verify the dashboard is visible.
```

## 5. Start one Run

Confirm the Test belongs to the right Project and environment, then start one
Run explicitly. Share its live URL, wait for the terminal result, and preserve
`PASSED`, `FAILED`, `ERROR`, or `CANCELLED` exactly. Do not run the remaining
free allowance automatically.
